Hello Ann,
My great-grandmother's sister, Eunice Wood, married an Abner Winder probably in Morrow Co. Oh. Eunice was a Quaker. she was born in 1837. I don't know when she married Abner. I have the names of two of their children, Clarence b 28 May 1864 and Anna May b. 24 Mar 1868. I have information that an Abner Winder in Mechanicsburg (Urbana, OH) was part of the Underground Railroad in OH along with Aaron Winder, Edward Winder, Joshua Winder and Thomas Winder. So was Eunice's father, Israel Wood. Does any of this fit with your Abner?

Hello Ann,
Thank you for the Winder information. I was trying to find out more about Abner and Eunice Wood Winder's children and descendants. Eunice was my great-grandmother, Rhoda Wood Nevill's sister. The information about the Underground Railroad and the Winders was at http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohchampa/underg.htm. You should find it interesting. It's more meaningful to me now that I know who Abner's brothers were-thanks. Please keep me in mind if you happen to find any more information about Abner and Eunice's descendants.
