Levi W. Garber, retired stone quarry worker, died at his residence, 718 Iuka, last night at 11:05 after a long illness. He was 75 years of age.
Mr. Garber was born in Batavia Iowa on June 16, 1867 and for the past 13 years had made his home here. He lived with his sister, Mrs. James R. Baker. He was a member of the Dunkard church.
A short service will be held at the graveside in Greenlawn Cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Interment will be in Greenlawn.
Survivors include three sisters Mrs. Baker of 718 South Iuka, Mrs. Bessie Mason of Tacoma, Washington, and Mrs. Ella Lamb of Ft. Collins, Colo.; and one brother, Samuel Garber of Tacoma.
Arrangements are in charge of the Sappington Calbeck Mortuary.
