Yes, the William on your web page at rootsweb is the same one I have here in Indiana, Greene County, from 1860 to 1886. He and Lucinda moved to MO and KS after leaving IN. He must have been quite a person to start out as a clerk in Sidney Odell's store and end up 20 years later owning most of the Odell estate. He even listed Lucinda, along with all of her family, in a law suite over a debt owed by the Odell's. He won - that's how he obtained most of their property.
I have a lot of information on him and the Odell family between 1860 and the mid 1800's. After that, they all moved from this area. William, Lucinda and her brother, John Odell and his family, moved to MO. Nancy Odell died, and I haven't had any success in locating the other family members.
The Greene Co. Court Records and Land Records contain a large number of entries in the 1870's and early 1880's. I have spent many hours at the Courthouse sorting through the books, and I have a number of entries in my notebooks.
