  From: "Mona Kennedy" mpkluray@hotmail.com Sent: Tuesday, January 21, 2003 10:26 AM [snip] William Clarence sold his livestock and farming equipment in 1916. Kept the land. He moved his family to McPherson, Ks so he could attend McPherson Bible College, then moved them on to Chicago to complete his schooling. When he returned to Kansas he preached in the Victor Holiness Church of the Brethern, as a lay minister. He was asked to resign the pulpit, I'm not sure exactly when, but probably in the late 1920's, because sometimes when he preached, he cried and it upset the congregation. He and Ida moved to Laverne, California where he preached until his death.
