Ann,
I was going through your 'Strays' list and saw the name of Ida Bell Winders, She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Winders, granddaughter of Clement Winders. She is buried in the Aspen Grove Cemetery along with her parents and siblings. On a trip to Burlington several years ago, we stopped by Aspen and took pictures of the family's grave stones. As you can see from the photo below, there seems to be a discrepancy in the date of her death. She was born in 1875 and died in 1915.
The following obituary appeared in the Burlington Hawk-Eye on February 5, 1915:
"Miss Ida Bell Winders passed away at 2:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the family home on North 6th Street, after an illness of eighteen weeks, which she bore with rare patience. She was born in Burlington August 19, 1875, and had always lived here. She was a young woman of excellent qualities of mind and heart and will be held in kindly remembrance in the wide circle of her acquaintance and friendship. She is survived by two brothers, C. A. and Will H. Winders, both of this city, and by five sisters: Mrs. C. F. Krauer of Marian, Ohio, Mrs. E. T. Wallace, of Omaha, Nebraska and the Misses Mattie A., Nettie M. and Grace G. Winders of this city.
Deceased was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran church and the funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. C A. Winders, 1206 North Sixth street, at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon, with interment in Aspen Grove. Many will pay her the last honors."
