  He married twice. He married Comfort Quinton Gore in Worcester Co., MD, May 19, 1807. Comfort was the daughter of Thomas Teackle Gore and Unknown Quinton. Comfort died before 1816. She was under age in 1797. (Bill Wilkins) He married Sarah Christian Snead in Northampton Co., VA, 1816. Sarah was born 1784. Sarah was under age at the time of her father's death.
