    • *Emmet T. Winder* Emmett T. Winder, 80, formerly of Chester, died Saturday [14 Oct 1950] at 9:30 a.m. in his home at Alliance, following a three month illness. Mr. Winder, a retired employee of the Morgan Engineering Co. of Alliance, lived there 33 years after leaving Chester. He was born in Hanoverton. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Alliance and the Stanton Bible Class. He leaves his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Harry E. Ruff of Alliance, Mrs Harry L. Oyster of East Liverpool, and Mrs. L.D. Cahoon of Cardington; a brother, Clarence J. Winder of Cleveland; two sisters, Mrs. Artia Luke and Mrs. Alta Bristol, both of Denver, and 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. George Winder, a son, died last May and another son, Everett Winder, was killed in a railroad accident near Salinerville in July. Services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Cassaday & Turkle Funeral Home in Alliance by Rev. John V. Stephens. Burial will be in Fairmount Memorial Park. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home.

      Emmett T Winder, 80, formerly of Chester, died Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in his home at Alliance, following a three month illness.
