  • Notes
    • Henry and Agnes were the parents of:

Elva Bradshaw, born 20 Feb 1889 at Osborne Co., Ks. died 21 Jul 1980 at Waldo, Russell Co., Ks married Ray Deardorff in 1915? Osborne Co., Ks

Vernon Bradshaw, born ? died 28 Nov 1977, Waldo, Russell Co., Ks married Maudie Bell Reitzel, 2 Jul 1916, Osborne, County, Ks.

Albion Lewis Bradshaw, born 4 Feb 1906, Victor Twp, Osborne Co.,Ks died 15 Jun 1947, Waldo, Russell Co., Ks married Freddie Schilling, date unknown. Infant Bradshaw, born and died 16 Jul 1911.

All of these people are buried in the Victor Cemetery, Victor Twp, Osborne Co. Ks.

I remember Elva and Ray, and Vernon and Maudie quite well.

Elva was a tall slender, softspoken lady. Dressed very plainly.

Ray was a tall, handsome man, drove the gas delivery truck for the Co-op station and always had his dog in truck with him. They had 1 son, Dean, and adopted twin daughters, Lois and Louise.

Vernon was a short man, maybe 5 ft. 6 or 7 inches. I always remember him in bib overalls and work shirt. He was the grain elevator manager at Waldo and he may have been the only employee.

Maudie was taller than Vernon, dressed always in a print housedress, wore her hair in a bun on the back of her head and a hairnet. She liked to gossip. They had 2 daughters. Albion and Freddie had no children.

Hope this info is what you need, Ann, for your Winder strays. Except for what I remember, personally, the dates of births, deaths, marrieages are from obits, bibles and county records. Mona [1]
