  	Samuel Winder Dead Samuel Winnder aged 81 years, of 140 Waller Street, died on Saturday of pneumonia, after an illness of only a few days. The deceased was one of the most highly respected citizens in Wyoming Valley. He was born in Bristol, Bucks county, Pa on Dec 27, 1819, and came to this city in the year 1840. He engaged in the market gardening business soon after coming here and was at the time of his death a member of the firm of Samuel Winder & Son, who are extensive market gardeners on the flats near Buttonwood. In 1857 he was married to Miss Elizabeth Stocker, who died on Feb 17, 1882. He is survived by the following children: William H, Albert J, May and Bessie who mourn the loss of an indulgent and kind father. Deceased was a man of kindly dispostion, honorable in business, and he leaves a large number of friends. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev R B Webster will officiate. Interment will be in Hanover Green Cemetery.
