Louis is 33 on the census, so was born about 1877. His occupation is given as brakeman. His father is listed as being born in Tennessee, and mother in Illinois. 1920 United States Federal Census Winder, Louis S View Image Online Age: 33 Year: 1920 Birthplace: Missouri Roll: T625_404 Race: White Page: 6B State: Illinois ED: 141 County: St. Clair Image: 732 Township: East Saint Louis The census gives his wife's name as Laura B. (Unknown). She is listed as age 29, so she would have been born about 1870, in Missouri. He father is listed as being born in Indian, her mother in Illinois. There are two sons listed. The oldest son is listed as age 11, so he would have been born about 1909. I think it says Hearley E. The other son , James A., is listed as age 9, so he would have been born about 1911. Both sons are in school, and were born in Arkansas.
