Aledo Boy Brings Home Part of Aguinaldo's Wardrobe
Will Winders, of Aledo, one of the boys of Company B, 6th Illinois, in the Spanish-American war and since then in the army in the Philippines, is home on sick leave. Mr Winders was severely wounded by a bullet which passed through his body, and has spent a long time in the army hospitals. He went through some memorble experiences in the Philippines and secured a great many souvenirs from Aguinaldo's headquarters, which were suddenly deserted on the approach of the United States troops. Among them is a handsome robe, for which Mr. Winders was offered $400 in New York.
