[snip] My Winder missing link is TAMSEY ANN WINDER b:6/26/1796 Maryland d: 4/22/1886 Beloit, Kansas; Married Geroge Sutherland Cline 12/29/1813 Madison, Ohio. Their daughter Tamsey Ann Cline McCart (b: 3/26/1825 d: 4/6/1910) is my GGGrandmother. I would like family history for Tamsey Ann Winder: who were her parents, when did the WINDER'S come to America, etc. I have fairly accurate info on the "McCarts" but can't find Tamsey Ann family connection. I would really appreciate any background you may have. My e-mail is: bualta35@yahoo.com. Thank you. Regards, Betty McCart Morand Urena
More from Betty Urena: Tamsey Ann received pension from husband George S. Cline after death/divorce of 2nd husband James Johnson.

My TAMSEY WINDER was born 26 Jun 1798 in Maryland and died Mar 1886 in Kansas. She was married 29 Dec 1813 in Madison County, Ohio to George Sutherland Cline. The story handed down is that she was disinherited after she married the handy man. She did not received land in Maryland she should have had. Tamsey & George also lived in Union County, Ohio. The area where the farm they lived on was refered to as the "Cline Bottoms". they also lived in McLean County, Illinois. After George died she married James Johnson and later moved to Daviess county, Missouri and Jackson Co., Kansas.
Her children were Thomas, Levi, George, William, Tamsey, Henry and John, which could be names of Ancestors. Looking for her parents...
- (Research):I am leaping to a big conclusion that William Winders and Tamsey Ann Winder were siblings, based on the fact that they both originated in MD, migrated to Madison Co, OH, and that one of William's sons ended up in Beloit, KS along with Tamsey
