[S207] n/a, Dayton Herald, 24 Jun 1895 (Reliability: 3). from Dayton Herald publication date 24 Jun 1895 JOHN WINDER An Aged Citizen, Dies Very Suddenly    at 2 o'clock This Morning      At about 2 o'clock this morning John Winder, an aged citizen, expired very suddenly at his residence, 43 West Second Street. He had not been feeling very well, but his death was not expected.  He was in his 84th year, and lived with his daughter Mrs. Julia Snell, at the number indicated.  Coroner Corbin was called in to view the remains, and is of the opinion that Mr. Winder died of old age.      The deceased was born in Maryland. He had resided here for about fifty years, having lived since 1850 in the house where he died. He leaves a daughter and two sons. The latter are Silas D. Winder, of Sycamore street and Captain John H. Winder of Warren street.       Mr Winder was a member of the Central Church of Christ, at Sixth and Brown streets.
