  According to John H Winder: «u»«b»Bayard Taylor Winders «/u»«/b» was born October 1857 in Dubuque County, Iowa but grew up in Mount Morris, Illinois. Eventually he ended up in Philadelphia (the city directory first lists him there in 1886), and in 1887 he married«u» Sarah Margaret Smith «/u» (1857-1925) in Camden, New Jersey. (Sarah had been married first to John M. Campbell, a Canadian immigrant, who died in 1881 from small pox.) In 1891, Bayard and Sarah took up residence with Sarah's mother at 4202 Ludlow St.; Bayard worked as a clerk and Sarah as a dressmaker. Bayard's date of death is unknown, Sarah died 12 February 1925.
