  From find-a-grave: During the years of Delroy's [Delroy Sitler 1885-1922] and Ruth's relationship, Ruth remained legally married to her husband, Earl William Green, who refused to grant her a divorce. Because she was legally married to Mr. Green, the children born to Delroy and Ruth were given the surname Green at birth although they are the biological sons of Delroy Franklin Sitler. Ruth died giving birth to her fifth child with Delroy Sitler. That unnamed child was buried in the casket with her and does not appear on her marker. Cemetery records indicate that Ruth was buried as Ruth Edna Sitler.
