Winder died at his home in Tilden on Thursday evening, February 11, 1904 at (unreadable) o'clock. He was taken sick on the Saturday evening before with what resembled a gradual approach of paralysis, and remained unconscious until death. Mr. Winder was born in Newark, Ohio, June 20, 1828, moved to Indiana and was married to Nancy Ashcroft on October 20, 1852, at Bloomfield, Indiana and remaining there until the fall of 18..
