Roy Winder, 78, of Tilden Dies; Rites Pending TILDEN -- Roy Winder, 78, lifelong resident of the Tilden area, died at 9 pm Wednesday of a heart attack. Although he had suffered from heart trouble a number of years, he had been able to go to town every day. Mr. Winder farmed a mile west of Tilden and later operated a dairy farm until 1954 when he and Mrs. Winder moved to Tilden. In addition to his widow Christine, he is survived by three sons, Bruce of Tilden and Harold and George of California, and a sister, Mrs. Lois Roberts of Creighton. [S434] Linda Eaton, (1 Dec 1996).
