  According to Deven Lewis (My 2013): «b»Cordelia Winders«/b» (born 1801 in KY, died before 1860). Cordelia married William Trotter on 05 Apr 1824 in Harrison County, IN. William Trotter can be found in the 1840 census in Heath/Heth Township, Harrison County, IN, and William and Cordelia are enumerated in 1850 in District 45, Harrison County, IN, with children Hamilton, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Lafayett, and Cordelia. It appears that by the 1860 census, both Cordelia and William had died; 16-year old Cordelia Trotter and 24-year old Elizabeth Trotter are enumerated in the household of Thomas G. and Ann Ballard in Heath/Heth Township, Harrison County, IN, probably Ann being the sister of Cordelia and Elizabeth. She married William Hamilton Trotter on Apr 5, 1824 in Harrison County, Indiana (not Ohio). I am not certain, but think that they lived in the portion of Harrison County around Hancock Chapel or Palmyra, in the close vicinity of Fredericksburg, IN. which is in Washington County. John Trotter's first wife was Matilda Wright. John and Matilda had three children; 1. Lucy Clementine Trotter born abt. 1851 and died Dec. 15, 1881. She married Robert W. Allen Oct. 25, 1870. 2. Martha Elizabeth Trotter born Apr. 5, 1853, died Mar. 6, 1923. Martha (she went by Betty) married John David Alvis. 3. Sarah Trotter born abt.1855. John Trotter's parents are: William Trotter born 1794 Armaugh, Ireland and Cordelia Winder, born 1801 Kentucky. They were married April 5, 1824, Harrison Co., Indiana. Their children are: 1. Hamilton Trotter born 1826, married Phebe Wright (Matilda Wright Trotter's sister). 2. John Trotter, born 1829, married Matilda Wright. 3. William Trotter born 1833. 4.
