Notes - Daniel's will provided that his estate be sold and the procedes be given to Elizabeth Adams "for the support of herself and her three children by me, and as a small reparation of the injury I did her". These children have not been traced.
According to Robert L. Winder (Sep 2000):
Daniel Winder, who died in Washington County, Maryland in 1795. His will was proved 8 August 1795 (Washington County Will Book A, p. 332). Daniel's will identified Thomas, James and John Winder as his three oldest brothers, mentioned his sisters Elizabeth Bond, Rachel Snebely, Susanna Orr (married to George Orr), brothers Isaac and George Winder, his father James and his mother, Elizabeth. No record of marriage has been found for Daniel Winder. His will, however, mentions his daughter Elizabeth "whom I had by Sabina, now Baltzer Baceman's wife". Daniel's will also provided that "my plantation or tract of land which I hold in Monongalia County, Va. Near the state road leading to Morgantown to be sold immediately and that the money therefrom be given to Elizabeth Adams or her kins for the support of herself and her three children by me, and as a small reparation of the injury I did her". These children of Daniel - Elizabeth, and the children he had with Elizabeth Adams, have not been traced.
