Mrs. Luella Cathryn Winders
At the age of 83, of 1237 S. Delaware Pl., who died at her home Monday afternoon after an 11 month illness, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday in Moore's Memory Chapel.
Interment will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs Winders, a native of Hamilton County, Indiana, resided in Missouri before coming to Tulsa in 1920.
She married : James Hammonds
She married: James Franklin Winders in February, 1891 at Warrensburg, Mo.
She was the widow of James Hammonds (died in Mo), and James Franklin Winders
(died in 1916).
She was a member of the Columbia Avenue Methodist church.
Surviving are five daughters:
Mrs. Roy B. Perrier (Rosa Ida), of the home. Tulsa, Oklahoma
Mrs. Deloy T. Dailey (Myrtle May), 1148 S. Birmingham Pl., Tulsa, OK
Mrs. C. Guy Campbell (Daisey Lee) 2643 E. Fourteenth Pl., Tulsa, OK
Mrs. C.A. Campbell (Pearl Leota Hammonds-Gaines), Collinsville, OK
Mrs. J.D. Coonrad (Sena Jane Hammonds-Kidd) Collinsville, OK.
One son:
Franklin Winders, 1608 S. Delaware Ave., Tulsa, OK
Two grandsons, eight great-grandchildren
Luella ran a boarding house for income in Tulsa, OK.

Here is what I have for Luella McKenzie. She is the daughter of John and Olive (Reed) McKenzie. One of her sisters also married a Winders as well. She married a Solomon Winders. Hope this helps. I have more if you are interested. Thanks and have a good day. Marsha Vedder

Guy was 86 years old, passed away Friday. Native of Yates Center, Ks. Tulsan since 1906. Member First United Methodist Church. Retired in 1963 as a Vice President of National Bank of Tulsa, now Bank of Oklahoma, after 47 years service. 62 years ago on Dec. 14, 1921, at Tulsa, Ok., he married Daisy Lee Winders. She survives. Also surviving: 1 son, James Leslie, and wife Doris of Anchorage, AK. Grandchildren, Patricia Ann Svoboda and Pamela Lee Beckham; Great-grandchildren, Tammy and Ashley Campbell Stewart.
