Your Isaac was the brother of our G-Grandfather, Alpheus Wisler and I do have some of the infrmation you want. It was collected by my mother-in-law and she would have gotten it from family members. She remembers having Oliver and Lester visit them. I think these were grandsons of Oliver who was married to Elzina. About Isaac and Rebecca----
Isaac (s/o John WISLER and Sophia STAUFFER) was b 14 Feb 1829 at Green Twp., Mahoning, Columbiana Co.,Ohio. He d 14Sep 1900 at Nappanee, Elkhart Co., Indiana. On 15 Mar 1858, in Union Twp., Elkhart Co., Indiana , he md Rebecca M Winder (d/o Caleb WINDERand Margaret BLOOMFIELD),who was b 30 Oct 1837 in Ohio (maybe Portage Co.) and d 17 Mar 1917/18 in Nappanee, Elkhart Co.,Indiana. They were Mennonites.
Isaac was a farmer, blacksmith, machinist, township trustee and a Justice of
the Peace, a most respected man.
