Salisbury - Thomas Lee Winder, Jr, 57, of Salisbury, died Friday, January 31, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical in Salisbury.
Born in Salisbury, he was a son of the late Thomas Lee Winder, Sr., and Delilah Horsey Winder. Tom was a graduate of Wicomico Senior High. He was employed by Marvel Packaging Company in Hebron for many years. Before his health began to fail, he was employed by the Peninsula Roofing Company in Salisbury.
He is survived by his stepmother, Mary Winder of San Domingo (near Sharptown), a brother James (Jackie) Winder of Salisbury; two sisters, Eloise (Keena) Johnson of Aberdeen and Charlenia (Nathaniel, Sr) Herring of Columbus, Ga; a goddaughter, Alisha Winder of Edgewood; two uncles, Edward (Elaine) Winder of Hebron and Granville (Barbara) Horsey of Clinton; an aunt, Patricia Winder of Hebron; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends. Two brothers preceded him in death, Tyrone and Milton Winder.
A funeral service is scheduled for Friday at Victory Faith Worship Center in Fruitland. Interment in Zion United Methodist Church cemetery in San Domingo. |
